Timelines :

- Born in 1986.
- Became the school's fastest runner 1998 . 
- Won his first medal in high school championship 2001 .
- Took part in World Junior Championship 2002 (Jamaica) .
- Got a new coach 2005 .
- Reached the world Top 5 rankings 2005 . 
- Broke the Jamaican 200-metre record 2007 .
- Earned two silver medals in Osaka 2007 .
- Qualified for the Summer Olympics in Beijing 2008 .
- Won gold in both 100 and 200 metre events in China 2008 .
- Won gold in the Olympic Games in Rio 2016.

Turning Points :

-Bolt attended Waldensia Primary School and began to show his sprinting potential by running in the annual national primary-schools' meeting for his area .
- Trained hard under Pablo McNeil .
- Prevented from further success by a recurring hamstring injury . 

Achievements :

- Bolt had become the school's fastest runner over 100 metres .
- Won his first medal in the high school championship in 2001 .
- Won the 200-metre race in Jamaica and that made him the youngest world-junior gold medallist ever .
- Reached the world top 5 rankings .
- Broke the Jamaican 200-metre record and earned two silver medals at the world championship in Osaka Japan . 
- Win gold in both the 100-200 metre events in China .
- Broke a world record in the 100 metre final .
- Achieved a third gold medal in Beijing as part of the Jamaican relay team .
- Bolt was the first man to win both 100 and 200 metres in consecutive Olympic Games .
